International prefix for Netherlands Antilles: 00
You can use the international prefix when you are in the Netherlands Antilles and want to call someone who is outside the Netherlands Antilles. If you are outside the Netherlands Antilles and want to call someone who is in the Netherlands Antilles, you first have to look up the right prefix number for that country in the prefix number list (see continental list).
Collect call in the Netherlands Antilles
It's possible to have the reciever pay for the call by using something called a collect call. After a collect call the telephone operator will charge the phone call to the reciever instead of the caller. When you make a collect call the operator will first ask the reciever if they want to accept your phone call. Once the phone call is accepted by the reciever and they declared to pay for the phone call the operator will put you through.
